Feb. 28, 2024 -- The final weekend of February saw the Drill Team headed to Kennewick, WA, to participate in the JROTC Drill Competition hosted by Kennewick High School. The team competed against 20 other teams in color guard, inspection and regulation drill skills. Drill cadets got to enjoy an energetic and serious competitive environment and practice working together as a team. Despite some disappointing results, the cadets worked hard and had fun with the competition. It also gave the cadets a chance to learn by interacting with and observing other teams. The event acted as a building block toward helping the team become more competitive.
