Hello,

We hope this message finds you well as we near the end of our first semester.  Mrs. Prewitt and I have been working hard to create some exciting opportunities for our students (and parents) and want to share those events with you in the attached document

Please pay careful attention to the upcoming Running Start Information Night on January 30th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.  This is a great opportunity to learn more about what Running Start is and if it might be appropriate for your student.

There will also be a NewTech Skill Center representative here on February 6th, so please have your student sign up in the Counseling Center if they would like to attend an information session in the high school auditorium during 5th period.  The Skill Center has a variety of vocational programs that juniors and seniors can attend for half the school day (and get a jump start on a potential career), while still earning high school credit.

Finally, there are some field trips that we will be going on (Get Connected and College Planning Day) and you will find attached to this email the permission slips required.  Please make sure you fill out both pages of the form and return to Ms. Carolyn in the main office to be considered for the trips.  We will have hard copies available in the Counseling Center and in the main office if needed.

Please let us know if you have any questions about the attached information.

Sincerely,

Lori Wilbanks
