Home Events & Activities
Friday (10/6) - Hallway Decorating - Come before school (8:00 AM) or stay after school (until 4:00 PM) to decorate your class hall. Class competition points are awarded based on the total number of students who participate. Make sure Mr. Perry checks your name on the list to be counted.
Friday (10/6) - Kickoff Assembly - Homecoming days and points will be explained along with performances and competitions. Royalty court will be announced.
Tuesday (10/10) - Girls' Soccer vs. Newport - 4 pm
Homecoming Outdoor Movie (Hocus Pocus) - 7:30 PM - Football Field - No Middle School Students Allowed
Thursday (10/12) - Finale Assembly - Final class games will be played along with the Dance / Lip Sync Battle. The winning class will be crowned.
Friday (10/13) - Homecoming Football Game vs. Lakeside - 7 PM - Homecoming Royalty will be presented at halftime and King & Queen will be announced.
Saturday (10/14) - Homecoming Dance - 7:00 to 10:00 PM in Small Gym
Homecoming dance tickets go on sale Monday (10/2) through Thursday (10/12). Tickets can only be purchased at the MLHS Business Office with Ms. Darci. Ticket sales are open before school, at lunch, and after school only. Ticket prices are $10 w/ASB and $12 w/o ASB. The dance is Saturday, Oct. 14 from 7 to 10 PM in the Small Gym.
Tickets will not be sold at the dance.
Dance guest passes must be turned in to the office by Wednesday, Oct. 11.
Spirit Points Competition
- Hallway Decoration - The total student count will be totaled from both the morning and afternoon hallway decorating sessions.
- Food Drive - Donation bins will be available in the main lobby. Runs 10/9 - 10/12 only.
- Dress-up Participants - Photos will be taken after school every day at the stairs by the counseling center. The total number for each class will be tallied.
- Class Volleyball Tournament - 5:30 PM on Wednesday (10/11).
- Dance/Lip Sync Battle - Performed at the finale assembly. Three judges will decide the ranking.
- Assembly Games - Various relays / other competitions at assemblies.
Participants may not compete in multiple assembly games. - Scavenger Hunt -
Instructions: You will form a group of at least 2 people from the same grade and work together to earn the Oscar. Each morning the clue will be on the homecoming page which will lead you to a location where you will complete a task. After completing the task you will follow the directions and email a photo to Cassidy Fitzpatrick, [email protected] where you will receive a number of letters. At the end of the week, you will solve the message that the letters create. Whoever solves it first wins the Oscar.
Scavenger Hunt Clues
Clue for Monday (10/9): "Start your Hollywood scavenger hunt with a cinematic touch, where movie magic happens and films are watched. Find your next clue where you'd view a flick."
Clue for Tuesday (10/10): "Hollywood is all about the glitz and glamour. Head to a place where you'll feel like a star. Find your next clue where celebrities park their cars."
Clue for Wednesday (10/11): "Your next task is where stars enter. Find your next clue at the place where everyone strikes a pose for the cameras."
Clue for Thursday (10/12): "It's the final day, don't be late! Head to a spot that's sure to be great. Where homecoming memories will forever shine, find your last clue, it's the finish line. - Noise Meter - In the event of a tie noise meter competition will be done at the end of the finale assembly.

Tuesday (10/10) - Night In. vs. Night Out
Wednesday (10/11) - Disney
Thursday (10/12) - Barbie vs. Ken (Different Barbie Styles - e.g. western, astronaut, beach, etc.)
