ACT TESTING

Dear Students and Parents/Guardians:

We are excited to offer the ACT (American College Test) with Writing on Tuesday, March 30th at Medical Lake High School. This is a great opportunity to take an important assessment in a convenient and familiar and less-stressful environment. The ACT can be used for a variety of things including college admission decisions for four-year universities, English and Math placement at some local community colleges, qualify for scholarships, and can even help meet graduation requirements for state testing.
Students will need to check in to the small gym no later than 7:55 a.m. on the morning of March 30th and should expect to be there until approximately 12:30-1:00 p.m. Use the doors near the auditorium to enter the building; give your health ticket to the person there.

What to bring:
Bring their own lunch or we can get lunch for them from our cafeteria. Students will stay and eat in the testing area.

To “sign up,” please pay $59.50 to Ms. Patty in the main office no later than Tuesday, March 2nd. To use the online InTouch payment system, log in to payment information and go to testing.
Per the ACT rules, only 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are eligible to take the test. We will provide No. 2 pencils. Please let us know if you have questions. We strongly encourage you to take some free practice tests at:

Sincerely,
