Precalculus
Course Description
The student will learn to solve and graph linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions – which are extensions of Algebra. Additionally, the student will work with trigonometric functions and polar equations. Emphasis is placed on working with all types of different functions through algebraic methods, graphing methods and numerical methods, as well as working with real-world problems. A few introductory calculus topics are also introduced including the idea of limits.
